Observation: Contrast in nature......

Nature is full of contrast..in terms of geometry, shades, texture...the variations only accentuate its beauty and compel a keen observer to appreciate its uniqueness and complementary role...
Daylily against dusty miller....

Carrotwood foliage against bare Chinese elm...

Golden sycamore against blue sky..

Jacaranda blooms against green crown of beech....

Slanting cedar branches against the backdrop of autumnal sweetgum....

Hidden patch of green among the dried fronds of fan palm....

Green sycamore and reddish eucalyptus...

Abloom Palo verde illuminated with diagonal lights and shadows...

A golden yellow twig brightens the dark backdrop...

Fluidity...

Sea figs...

Now, don't you feel like saying "Nature is awesome"...of course, for the umpteenth time....:)
I loved these juxtapositions... a patch or layer strikingly different from the backdrop....

A patch of pink fringed by green pear leaves caught my attention....

A sycamore branch juxtaposed against the blazing coral blossoms..loved the contrast...

Does not this picture show something utterly contrasting? Its winter reigning now, autumn is long gone and spring is yet to arrive, yet this tree sporting a rich-tint leaf and a bunch of blossoms seem to say something else. I am happy to capture this poignant picture.

A bright bougainvillea plant stands out from the succulent groundcover......

A thorn apple amidst wild oat...
