Place: Weekend at Lake Jennings....

Some days back, we had been to Lake Jennings, a tranquil water body surrounded by chaparral, located on the outskirts of San Diego...

Reeds and cattails on the lake edge had dried and were swaying in the spring breeze...

The distant vista was pretty awesome, with houses built on the hills and granite domes...

The fallen tree branches were creating nice reflections on the mirror-clean water...

Waterfowls were swimming merrily...

Here, I am on the dock...

My spouse takes a pause during our walk along the rim of the lake..

We saw many birds, among which the osprey was most amazing...

After the tiring hike, we took out lunch under the eucalyptus grove by the lake, watching mallards and coots.. It certainly was a nice weekend getaway....it would have been more enjoyable, had we been into fishing and canoeing..

Fauna: Curious apartment campus pets...

Everyone loves to sit back and watch the world go by...including these cute pets in our apartment building or neighborhood residential are....as I go for my strolls, see them enjoying the nature and activities around...

The felines.....
