Plant: Iceland poppy...from bud to unfurled flower...........

I am thrilled to capture this awesome picture of the hairy poppy bud bursting to expose the white flower. The out of focus buds make the picture wholesome.

The neatly-packaged delicate petals.....

A sober, white poppy, striking against the green background. Though not as brilliant as its peers, the paper-thin wrinkled petals look just as delicate and admirable.

Hyperactive bees gathering pollens from Iceland poppy..

The charming flower beds..............
