Observation: Pretty arbors...........

When I saw lots of these arched structures in the gardens and yards of residents in our neighborhood, I was curious to know more about them. Got to know, this curved scaffold termed 'arbor' is meant for landscape enhancement in personal gardens. The wooden frame acts as trellis for flowering vines. When the arbor is draped with heavily blossomed creepers of rose, wisteria, trumpet creeper, morning glory or winter jasmine, it looks stunning and becomes the cynosure of the garden.

Who can resist its appeal ? Undoubtedly, it's an ornamentation, worth the price. Sharing some of my latest finds in Costa Mesa neighborhood...

A sturdy one with pretty lattice structure...........

Embraced by rose creeper............

Supporting a dull grape vine in winter..........

The same arbor sports a gorgeous look in spring..........

Wrapped with morning glory vine........

Bursting with electric blue flowers...........

Another one beautifying an Oceanfront house in the City of Newport...

Serving dual purpose...gate as well as arbor...
