Reflection: Cherishing the initial days in this country....

Now, I am in my fourth year in this beautiful country....time flied...it was not exactly cakewalk..the struggle to find an identity in a foreign land took its toll, anyway, I surpassed the tough time and a bright future almost beacons....
At this juncture, I feel like looking back and cherish the nascent days..when everything was new and I had started to explore my surroundings...
I was barely a week here...It was my first glimpse of the Pacific Ocean@ Laguna beach....

Maiden visit to Los Angeles...the zoo....

First visit to the local 'Tewinkle park'...which later became an indispensable part of my stay in the town Costa Mesa..

It was very special...first visit to any US National Park...and it was the formidable 'Grand Canyon' on  Thanksgiving weekend...

The first visit to the marsh Upper Newport Bay...since then I have dropped in there numerous times..for watching the migratory birds, ebbs and tides, sunset, blooming encelia and mustard..

A mesmerizing foggy morning in Laguna beach...by far, my most loved California beach..

Evening in South Plaza mall...many memories of hanging around and gazing at the beautiful holiday decorations.........
