Place: Hiking at Aliso and woods canyon wilderness park...........

Some pictures from a hike to Aliso and woods canyon in Aliso Viejo........
It was summer...wild oats had painted the meadows golden...and in the breeze, the field was creating resonating melody........interspersed were the perpetual green scrub oaks...

I was resting intermittently to soak in the beauty of open space...

It was pleasant navigating along the mustard bloom-fringed trails....

Soon landscape changed....it was rocks...surrounded by chaparral vegetation......

and caves......of many shapes and sizes........

Spotted fauna included......
bee......

caterpillar............

A pair of fence lizards......

ground squirrel transferring its baby.........

land snails........

And flora........
old sycamores............

sticky monkey...........

wild roses........

yerba mansa or lizard tail....

poison oak.........

thistle..........
