The majestic Sierra mountains are perfect getaway for nature enthusiasts...in our recent road trip, I got to soak in their serenity, to my fill...
As a bonus, first snow of the year after long summer, painted the peaks white, the very day we landed in the Sierras.....
and the transformations were surreal!...layers and layers of peaks, one challenging the other in piercing the clouds and sky....
I got curious if all these mountains have names, like Mt. Whitney!....search the map and came across interesting names..like, Mt Thompson, Mt Gilbert, Mt Goode, Cloudripper, Picture Puzzle, Hurd Peak, Aperture Peak, Mt Solomons, Charybdis, Black Giant, Langille Peak, Mt McDuffie, The Citadel, Wheel Mountain, Ragged Spur, Devils Crags, Tunemah Peak, Burnt Mountain, Windy Peak, Kettle Dome, Dead Pine Ridge, Mt McGee, Mt Hutton..and the list goes on...and on...
