Observation: Celestial body watching from balcony...

Our balcony faces to the East...it gives an opportunity to view the moon throughout the year...especially the gibbous to full moon as it rises behind the palm, pear, pine, sycamore and the neighbor's chimney...sometimes, as we have supper in the living room, get to see the bright moon staring at us...

Once, I got lucky to see a brilliant shooting star....but these meteor residues are fleeting, so capturing it was beyond question.

Last night, I could not sleep and just looking out of the bed room window, while this shiny body attracted my attention. I guessed it to be Venus, but to be sure checked the web and it was..the shiniest celestial object in the Eastern sky just before dawn. I had to take pictures...FYI, after the sun and moon it is the next most dazzling object to unaided eye ...

Today, saw this beautiful rainbow...........
