Fauna: Grazing cattle...California countrysides and in rest of the rural USA...

Cattle grazing in the pasture, under the blue sky, by the green hilly slope, on the rabbitbrush-fringed valley, at the foothills of the Sierra range or the Palomar mountains, resting under the oaks, drinking from the rivulets, calves tagging along with their mothers makes such a serene picture...me and my spouse, on our way to home decide to pause for a while and see the them from close...

Sometimes, the curious heifers or bullock gaze at us..

before going back to chomping on the grass..

before heading for their night shelter....

On the foothill pastures on Escondido......

On the way from Rainier to Olympic National Park..

A big block takes time to  check us out........

Somewhere in Central California...........

They were curious, as we were......

I remember this group of cattle...it was turning dark.....as I took the shot, they were scared with the flash of my camera....called each other and headed for their night shelter......

A large flock of black cattle resting under a tree...on our way from Sequoia National Park to Kings Canyon National Park....
