Health: Wnt gene at the center of multiple diseases........

While reading through science material, I came across the information that tetra-amelia syndrome is a congenital  disease leading to mutation in Wnt genes (in chromosome 17), which  causes the loss of all four limbs. 

From my previous knowledge, I recollected that, this gene is involved in a number of cancers, viral and neural diseases. 

Currently, I am investigating on this critical gene and which mutagens affect it and how to prevent it?

hopefully, I will get interesting clues to contribute to the understanding of Wnt signaling pathway.
