Passion: Container-grown herbs for kitchen garden........

Among other edible plants, I have sown seeds of parsley, chives, oregano and thyme in my patio container garden.......also some nasturtium, and cucumber...
Actually, these herbs are not primarily used in Indian recipes......so, I am yet to learn how to use them.......
I browsed the internet to find the possible uses, which I have cataloged here.....

#Oregano  (Origanum vulgare )
Oregano seeds will germinate in soil in approximately 8 to 14 days
Used in pizza, spaghetti, pasta, marinara sauces, stews, salads, soups, even tomato juice.

#Rosemary
Rosemary seeds will germinate in soil in six to eight weeks.
Used in  butter for bread; chicken marinade; skewers; soup/stew;
infuse simple syrup with rosemary for drinks; Shrimp Scampi; Chickpea And Rosemary Soup; rosemary lemonade.

#Chives
Chives will germinate in 2 to 3 weeks
Used in Soups, Salads, omelette, dips, baked potatoes, stew, quesadillas,
Use the chopped chives as garnish to retain flavor

#Nasturtium
The big seeds were soaked overnight...before inserting in the soil..
It took 2-3 weeks to germinate......
Looking forward to have the leaves and blooms in salads..

Parsley seeds take 10 to 25 days to germinate.
Chicken marinade, herb salad,  omelette, hummus, aioli, pesto,  tomato sauce, fish curry, ravioli, quiche....may be tabbouleh.......
