Fauna: Banana slugs in Olympic National Park..........

Now they might make you puke
But, these banana slug (Ariolimax) are one of the most ubiquitous animals of Olympic National Park..
They might look slimy, but are harmless....
We saw dozens of them on our hiking and sightseeing trails in the park...on the shore of Crescent lake, at Hoh rain forest, Quinault lake shore.........also, in the nort west point of this nation, at cape Flattery........
They appeared in a variety of colors............black, yellow, almost white, brown, spotted.........
Crawling on the ground, on tree branches.........

This one looked like an overripe banana.......

See them..take pictures...but do not irritate them...or touch them..
Their slimes are allergenic...you can develop skin rashes...
