This time of the year Eastern Sierra turns into a stunning a place to visit......so much to offer..........meadows, granite canyons, streams, aspen groves.....
We had visited in October 2015.....would love to visit again......
Got to visit a number of lakes, creeks......Convict, Gull, June, Sabrina, Grant, Silver........the June Lake Loop...Bishop creek (North, South), Devil’s postpile monument........Bristlecone pine forest (Big pine)..Mammoth Lakes..
Other places in the vicinity that should be visited include......lakes (Blue, Box, Croley, Davis, Dingleberry, Donkey, Dorothy, Gem, Genevieve, George, Green, Hilton, Klondike, Mildred, Little Walker, Long, Lundy, North, Rock creek, South, Tyee)..... Summers Meadow out of Bridgeport, Lundy canyon...White Mountains, Mount Tom (13.5 K feet), Manzanar (Japanese immigrants were interned here during the 1940s after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor bringing America into World War II), John Muir Wilderness.........
