The mallards are the regular residents of the pristine lake in Tewinkle park. The gull (from the nearby Newport Beach) has dropped in here for a visit, for a change to taste fresh water, perhaps. The ducks are unwilling to interact with the foreigner and ignore its presence. The gull catches a sorry figure, a case of being lonely in the crowd.
