Fauna: Fox squirrels nibbling on food.........

Sighting the jolly fox squirrels scampering among the sweetgum and pear trees are not that common this time of the year. I pondered the reason of their conspicuous absence and got to know, it's their summer breeding season. After the winter breeding in January and brief appearance in spring, they are busy rearing the babies again. While waiting for them to appear and entertain us by perching, jumping, crawling, chasing, gnawing, asking for food and stealing grains from the bird feeders, I decided to delight myself with the pictures of the cute and fuzzy critters munching away on morsels of foods.
