Fauna: Neighbor's cuddly cat..............

Our neighbor's cat loves roaming in the cool evenings. The other day, we were standing on our porch, the furry one who usually behaves off-handish, surprised us with his tender manner.
It came to us, rubbed against Surya's legs and purred, signalling to pat him. Having a soft corner for cats and dogs, Surya crouched and stroked his silky fur gently. Happy with the affection, it rolled on and on the ground, walked up to our front door to peep inside, looked into my camera lens curiously, sat down under the porch chair, lingered on there for minutes before vanishing into the Chinese privet thickets.
I've no clue what name this fuzzy guy goes by, I call him 'Mittens' for obvious reasons...

Eyes or a pair of gems?

Luminous, piercing and intrepid gaze....

I love rolling on the sand and gravel...

Later I got to know, his name was 'Thomas'.......

Today, we saw it hiding behind the thick jasmine bed and peering at us stealthily. It's sure fun aplenty to watch him carry out his covert operations.
