Place: Visited Mount Rainier and Olympic National parks....

We visited Mount Rainier and Olympic National parks in late August..
The trip lasted more than a week.......we returned with enriching memories...
I have taken countless pictures of the wonderful places...it will take a number of posts to do justice to them..
Here are some....
Mount Rainier  National park....
The entrance...

Its in the Paradise area......

I am on a meadow by the famous Tipsoo lake....Mount Rainier in the backdrop...It was the face of the mountain towards the Sunrise side........

Reflection lake........

Here, you can see glacier-carved terrains....there was a deep gorge.....from this place, you can see both Mount Rainier and Mount Adams.......

Olympic National Park...
At Hurricane ridge visitor Center..

On a trail to a waterfall....

In Hoh rain forest at Olympic National Park...

Like bearded old spirits...

Under a huge Sitka spruce, in Quinault valley by the Quinault lake...
It is known to be worlds's largest spruce at about 200 feet height and 60 feet girth..it has lived a thousand years...

A trail towered by maples..

And with this visit, my visted National park tally went up to 10 :)..
