Observation: Eye-catching statues.............

Some remarkable statues photographed during my trips........
Mammoth statue at Mammoth city...

'Revenge of the mummy'  statue in Universal Studios, Los Angeles...

This metal statue of a caddie boy carrying the golfer's clubs was adorning a street of Henderson city, Nevada.

This iconic bronze winged statue gracing the plaza in Hoover dam, Nevada is guaranteed to grab attention of any visitor.

The imposing statue of performer Gene Autry celebrated for his 'singing cowboy' performance, in the courtyard of Autry National Center, LA.

Perhaps, this life-size statue of a sailor standing by the helm on the terrace of a Spanish-style house is not big enough to merit being called a muffler man (the giant statues installed before some restaurants or auto stores), but it's certain to draw attention as you ride bike along the sloping road leading to the Newport Beach...

El Cid statue at Balboa park..........

A  puma and cub statue installed by the lake Poway...........

Sailor statue at Seaport village, San Diego........

A dragon facing the San Diego Bay....

Life guard statue at Ocean beach, San Diego..........

A bear statue in Monrovia Canyon, near LA...

Statues at San Diego zoo......

Penguins in Sea World , San Diego....

A satanic horse statue spotted somewhere near Bishop, CA

An interesting mannequin peeping from a house balcony, June Lake, CA.....

Statues of lumberjacks at Forks, the  sleepy town in North west Washington, known as 'Timber Capital of the World'...and yes, in the novel 'Twilight', on which the namesake vampire romance movie was set is based on this town..
