Observation: Wind chimes on jacaranda.....

After my exam, I decided to take a relaxing stroll in the campus garden by the koi pond...
the blooming jacaranda and coral were gracing the landscape...

As I looked up to appreciate the floral bounty, was pleasantly surprised to spot  half dozen or more pretty wind chimes suspending from the branches..

Soon a nice breeze swept through the canopy and what a soothing melody they created in unison!!!

Plant: Jacaranda reigns..........

Summer in South California means the stunning show of jacaranda...

It's the mid of June and the purple jacaranda blossoms are brightening the streets...the fallen petals blanketing the ground and lawn is making a fascinating view. Some clicks from my perspective...
Striking against the green foliage...

As if in competition with the sapphire sky...

Lawn peppered with petals...

The dry pods in autumn........

The lush green canopy in spring....
