The other day, we were riding bicycle along the San Diego creek, that opens up in Upper Newport Bay....
The water surface was blanketed by heavy algal bloom.....
Reminded of the recent 'State of Emergency' declared in Florida in the wake of toxic algal bloom in the waterways, asphyxiating aquatic life......
Why only th creek, some well-known lakes have turned green as well..
