I am a medical researcher....my job is to investigate cause and potential treatments of the numerous diseases we are cursed with....
I was thinking of transgender issues....is it a case of hormonal signalling gone wrong at some stge of gestation or later?
There are transgender communities in common populace....that might be due to genetics or lifestyle habits...
But, many celebrities undergo gender reassignment surgeries...
My hypothesis is if the endocrine disrupting cosmetics (which they use heavily to enhance their appearance) and steroid drugs (for anxiety relief etc. to cope with stresses, hectic life) leads to such changes....
Well, all of them use toiletries.....many of them use steroids...
Why all of them are not affected might be explained that host factors vary and play decisive role in manifestation of a disease...
Why all of them are not affected might be explained that host factors vary and play decisive role in manifestation of a disease...
Long-term usage of steroids might be inducing gender changes.....by manipulating the ratio of estrogen and testosterone.........
Rather inncocuous-seeming chemicals are critical players too.....the other day we were watching a documentary, how a man working in a perfume shop has developed gynecomastia (swollen breast tissue in males), to his grief..
While reading on it, I came across the information that enzyme 5-α-reductase deficiency prevents male organ formation in prenatal babies....which in geographic regions develop during puberty...
It leads to the hypothesis if any component in regular diet or potable water or environment is blocking the enzymes? Most likely yes? Because, often such transgender issues are endemic to particular regions....
#So, again through this humble post I would like to share that staying away from hormone-manipulating substances is a healthy way of life...
