Observation: Mudslide in Olympic National Park....

Rainforest regions of Pacific North West of USA gets abundant rain ...as high as 150 inch/ year..
The saturated soil, when can not absorb any more water, mudslide occurs..huge chunks of the soil along with the vegetation over it come tumbling down..like these pictures below, taken near Lake Crescent..
