This elaborate network of pine roots sticking out of the ground in Tewinkle Park made a pathetic view. The Pinetum perched on the knoll is destined to lose surface soil, but the extent of damage was way too much.
And these trees with these badly exposed roots, stood in the fringe of Cleveland National Forest. The bare roots appeared like the human circulatory system under the bruised skin.
Another fig tree with roots peeping above the soil........
