Last year, around this time we had been to Cal Poly Pomona, for my possible admission there...
It was a fascinating weather that day....overcast sky, autumnal trees, holiday decorations everywhere...
En route, I got a glimpse of Chino Hills State Park, the vast emerald, grassy hills and knolls took my breathe away...the healthy herds of cattle grazing on the sloped pastures was painting a lovely sight...
Soon, it started raining...dusk was approaching...I was so enthralled with the beauty, decided to visit Chino Hills as soon as possible...
It was early Spring, while we stepped foot there...
Encelia were in blooms...
Encelia were in blooms...
the trail-head stated with a citrus grove......the fragrance was intoxicating...
Came across many interesting plants.......
wild mustards...
California black walnut.......
toyon.........
tender leaves ...........
wild rose...........
mistletoe..........
and many critters.........
Swaying grass....
I decided to rest on the bed of velvety grass and inhale the freshness....
Spouse is enjoying the immense natural beauty after a strenuous uphill hike...
The winding paths, sometimes needed tracking the map...
It was a vantage point...with a bunch of wild flowers I was marveling at the layers of greenery and letting the breeze invigorate me...
