Knowledge is powerful.........it dispels the darkness of ignorance.....
And internet brings the huge corpus of knowledge to our disposal...
One of the greatest inventions of mankind...
Unfortunately, a large section of humanity have no access to it...especially in developing countries..
Including my own village in India.....I wish, they had got the luxury of limitless net browsing...
Life would be more fulfilling ...yeah, the confidence and broader outlook that comes with knowledge.....
Also, people across the globe would be better equipped to address day-to-day issues.........like emerging diseases, environmental pollution, threats of pesticides, the senselessness of terrorism, the virtues of compassion......superstition and narrow-mindedness would have gone away...
Anyway, till that happens the onus lies on us...who are lucky enough to have internet access to disseminate knowledge.....
I urge the young generations to go beyond selfie, Kardashians, Pokemon and other transient fads ...rather contribute towards a better world by using internet's true potential......
