Thought: Humanitarian acts..........

Reading through a old magazines...came across these touching philanthropic works...You don't need billions to contribute...
A man who donated his old bikes from his business to poor Africans....
A man who created a flower bank to deliver to patients as  a form of  'therapy'...
How amazing people are there!!
The regular plane bombing, carnage, murder news have almost stripped my faith on humanity, which these heart-warming anecdotes restored.....
Also the act of kindness not necessarily  involve human but animals or plants...in fact anything, living or non-living, critical for restoration of the balance of Nature....

Sharing some other inspiring tales...
Greyhound breed of dogs, owing to their physical agility are employed for racing in their youth. On retirement, they seek a shelter for rest of their lives. Few days back, I met this gentleman dog-walking his three pets. Scared of the fearsome dogs, I moved to a side. The master petted them and told that they were gentle, well mannered creatures. As I took pictures of the dogs, the owner conveyed that the trio had been rescued. It made a warm picture to see the old man walking down the streets with his three old companions..........
