There is a restaurant not far from our apartment. What projects it unique among the dozens other dotting the area is its rustic yet aesthetic appeal. The patio under the giant silk-floss where the tables are laid is almost obscure with the thicket of sage, Pride of Madeira, lantana and fountain grass. The wooden pavement leading to the eatery is lined by pebbles. A rusted bicycle leans against one of the several wooden poles. In winter they laid out a couple of parrot-green circular sofa for customers to sun and chat. Came spring and a beautiful ornamentation with multiple bird houses was installed to attract the feathered visitors.
