Plant: Asparagus fern.....beautiful ground cover.....

Asparagus fern loaded with luscious red berries, perfectly in contrast with the light green leaves. This South African native plant is a desirable ornamental plant in South California garden, for their pretty creepers and cherry colored fruits...

The berries when raw...

However their rhizome persists in ground and the vine has emerged as an invasive weed....

The fox tail-like appearance has given it the name 'foxtail fern' too....

Seen it planted in apartment, office, park, campus yards...
