Visiting corn mazes, pumpkin patches, hay rides during Halloween time, has emerged as a major outdoor family fun in corn-growing parts of the USA, including South California.
This autumn, I got the opportunity to visit the comparatively tiny, easy but lovely maze in Tanaka Farm. It was immense fun to navigate way along the narrow path flanked by dense rows of green corns. I learned that the labyrinths are carved into desired shapes if viewed aerially. It is an attractive adventure spot for kids, I gathered from their carefree running around. Here is a tiny tot being shown the maze by his father.
A bevy of blondes and brunettes, seated on hay and pumpkin piles in Tanaka's pumpkin patch. With so many happy faces, along with the sea of bright orange gourds, the farm was brimming with cheer.
