On this Thanksgiving holidays, we had an awesome trip to the geological marvel, the Grand Canyon The overwhelming size and the intricately-carved landscape exposing the distinct layers of rocks left us stunned.
As the sun sank, darkness prevailed and chilly wind blew......
Aesthetically-painted clay pots displayed in a gift shop in the park..the wide varieties of eye-catching, Native American handicrafts were ideal for souvenirs.
I got a chain with pendant from the shop...and, few pebbles as keeper of a colossal geological wonder....though its strongly advised not to bring anything from the park, and not to leave behind anything...
I never repeated it....just got loads of memorable pictures.........
Like this old, spooky, gnarled and weather-battered pine trunk on the edge of South rim of the Grand Canyon. Gazillions of these dead conifer trees occupying the forest create a eerie picture.
Portraits of Grand Canyon from various perspectives. Sit a spell and contemplate the ethereal beauty. Let the pictures speak for themselves, as attempting to put the magnificence in words will be unfair.....
